One Greener Radio Launches January 7th with Melora Hardin from The Office, Max & Jason from Current TV

JANUARY 7, 2009 TOPIC: Green and Entertainment- Mixing with life and sustainability?

THIS WEEK’S GUESTS: American actress, singer and former child star Melora Hardin was born on June 29, 1967, in Houston, TX. She began her acting career at ten years old with the role of Cindy Prescott on an episode of TV series "Thunder" in 1977. Melora is best known for her roles as Trudy Monk on the USA Network series "Monk" and as corporate manger Jan Levinson on "The Office." She is married to actor Gildart Jackson and has two daughters, Rory and Piper. Melora has studied with the Joffrey Ballet's program and attended Sarah Lawrence College. Her hobbies include jazz dancing, guitar, horseback riding and song writing.

Jason Silva and Max Lugavere are television personalities, filmmakers, gonzo journalists and founding producer/hosts for Current TV, the Emmy winning youth-oriented lifestyle cable network started by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, now the fastest growing network in TV history. They reside in Los Angeles, CA.

"Max and Jason" have become a prolific hosting and producing duo on Current TV, with widely ranging stories- from illegal immigration and counterfeit IDs, to profiling a brave new singer songwriter right before signing a publishing deal, to a taped philosophical sit-down with director Darren Aronofsky. Their story on counterfeit IDs even earned them a featured appearance and interview on Anderson Cooper 360. Their franchise, "Max and Jason Style" has become one of the hallmarks of their work on Current TV, denoting coverage of an issue in a voice that is distinctly unique- often juxtaposing telegenic images and a heightened filmmaking aesthetic with bold and intelligent content. The results are a compelling product, which as The Internet Examiner put it, is proof that "Current is getting it just right."

Other surprise guests often stop by our virtual studio to provide their insights. See you at the One Greener Radio studio every Wednesday at 11 AM Pacific and 2 PM Eastern Time: http://ping.fm/qxUCL
